Summary

Constructed in the late 1880’s to replace the church previously gutted by fire, this building was similarly gothic designed but this time incorporated exposed brickwork instead of timber.

Built on a prominent site and said to be the largest church building of it’s time, St Benedicts is still today a very imposing and majectic building.
