Hampton Court

Located at the corner of Wellesley St. and Federal St., Hampton Court is hard to miss, with its nine floors and brick facade. Built between 1929 and 1931, it was designed by architect Surrey S. Alleman, who was only 29 years old and won the NZIA Gold Medal Award for his job.

We are part of an ambitious restoration program which looks to do concrete repairs on beams and columns, brick repairs, repainting, windows repairs and glass replacement.

In 2023 we worked on the internal courtyard and in 2024 started the first stage on the southern facade. We are looking forward to 2025 when we expect to start working on Federal and Wellesley facades.

Lime Works has been entrusted with:

  • Concrete repair to beams and columns.

  • Installation of new fixings for downpipes.

  • Brick repairs and pointing.

  • Render repairs.

  • Redundant fixings removal.

  • Steam Cleaning facades.
