Summary

The Massey Memorial at Point Halswell in Wellington honors the late Prime Minister William Massey and his wife. We recently undertook a deep steam clean of the monument, revealing the beautiful marble that had been hidden beneath years of soot.
Unfortunately, in 2023, the memorial was vandalized, and one of the central marble slabs was damaged.
We sent two of our best craftsmen to re-carve a new stone and install it into the monument, which now looks as good as new.

Lime Works has been entrusted with:

  • Steam Cleaning the monument
  • Carve a new marble slab to replace the vandalized one
  • Install the new marble slab
