Summary

The Massey Memorial at Point Halswell in Wellington honors the late Prime Minister William Massey and his wife. Recently, we conducted a deep steam clean of the monument, unveiling the beautiful marble that had been obscured by years of soot.

Unfortunately, in 2023, the memorial was vandalized, resulting in damage to one of the central marble slabs. In response, we dispatched two of our top craftsmen to carve a new stone and install it in the monument, restoring it to its former glory.

Lime Works has been entrusted with:

  • Steam Cleaning the monument
  • Carve a new marble slab to replace the vandalized one
  • Install the new marble slab
